about

We created this album to showcase the new SOXSA TapeSynth++ patch for the Organelle. Take a sample, set it up to play like a keyboard instrument and change the parameters on the fly for a more organic sound.

As per the strict rules in Gilbert's Tape Manifesto of 1957, only ONE sample is allowed in each track, although it can be hacked around as much as you like.

Other supporting instruments include the ACME Beat Machine and Behringer's smashing Crave for bass sounds.

The title refers to J.B. Priestley's 'Man and Time'.
